Additionally, innovative new ribs on the top and bottom edge of the shield improve rigidity and eliminate the bending that may occur from wind pressure and during the opening and closing process, and an improved shield locking mechanism rounds out SHOEI's most advanced shield system to date.

Photochromic Shield:

Traditionally, riders deal with changing light conditions by carrying two shields (one clear, one tinted) with them at all times. Race Shield:

CWR-F Pinlock Shield with tear off posts used for racing. The shield surface is flat so tear offs can lay across the viewing port, comes with tear off buttons and works in conjunction with DKS 303 Pinlock inserts. Scratch resistance coating and nearly 100% UVA & UVB protection. Tear offs and Pinlock insert lens both sold separately.
